Welcome to the Tag Team blog. The purpose of posting news on Dave’s progress is to, collectively, keep as many well-wishers informed as possible. Please know that this social vehicle is not intended to replace your personal inspirational texts and emails to us. But, instead of inundating your inbox and sending group texts, you may check on Dave’s daily progress at your leisure.
After 23 years of being cured of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, having to battle Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) has been a difficult challenge. With a compromised immune system, we have had to be vigilant and proactive to eliminate germs as Dave ducks and hides from infections. The treatments leading to his bone marrow transplant (BMT) have been successful and he has had no major complications. That, alone, is a blessing in so many ways.
We have also been blessed to have so many family and friends who are keeping Dave and our family in their sincere thoughts and prayers. But, in addition to that, so many others who we don’t even know have joined our prayer warriors. We have been showered with countless gifts, donations and favors. Even something as simple as a card with words of encouragement has inspired us to crush this disease. Thank you to each one of you (and you know who you are) who have been involved with us every step of the way. Virtual hugs go out to all of you.
Please keep us in your daily prayers. If we are the instrument to bring those to their knees in prayer, then we are honored and blessed that He chose us. Continue to pray each day for others as well. Maybe this is the way you will feel His presence and know that He hears your prayers. Because, little miracles have happened so many times throughout this journey, and will continue to happen with your help.
Thank you, Dave and Michelle
